Course Description

This course is designed to enable the student to efficiently use Microsoft Access 2000. The course uses a hands-on approach to learning. Each student will design and create a simple database application. Emphasis is placed on the general design concept, as well as how to incorporate these ideas within the Access environment.

Course Objectives

Ø   Understand the concept of a Relational database

Ø   Design a basic database application

Ø   Learn how to create, modify, and use tables

Ø      Understand the concept of queries

Ø      Learn how to create, modify, and use queries

Ø      Designing and using simple forms

Ø      Understand how to create effective reports

Duration

The duration of the course is one day. This day begins at 8:30 am and ends at 4:30 pm.
