Microsoft PowerPoint

Course Outlines

Course Schedule

Course Description

PowerPoint is a presentation development software package that combines graphics and text with special effects, giving you a powerful way to deliver information to a group of people. You will be introduced to most of the features within the program. You will not be totally proficient with the program, but you will be well aware of its capabilities.  With the manual in your hand, you can go through on your own and create presentations back at work.

Course Objectives

Ø     Learn how to create quick presentations with the Wizards, the many templates, and AutoContent choices that are available

Ø      To become comfortable with creating drawing objects, sizing, and moving of them. You will even know how to arrange objects to create overlay effects.

Ø     You will get a good understanding of the different modes available to work in PowerPoint. One view mode is great for quick point by point data entry; another is what you want to use to view multiple slides, etc.

Ø      You will also pick up useful tips on how to make a good presentation for the audience to follow – not what you think is good.

Ø      You will learn how to run the slide show manually or automatically.

Ø      Your confidence level will increase greatly with PowerPoint. You now need to just find the time to "play" with it to make it work for you!

The duration of the course is one day. This day begins at 8:30 am and ends at 4:30 pm.
