Course Outlines

Course Schedule

Course Description

The powerful graphical interface of Windows ‘98 has a lot of features that most users aren’t aware of.   Learn how to work with the task bar and multiple windows, and how to customize and change your Desktop.  Limited time will be dedicated to working with files and folders and creating desktop shortcuts.

Course Objectives

Ø      To develop and use Windows ‘98 with confidence, even if you have never used it before.  For those who have been using it already, you will gain a better understanding, plus pick up new and helpful tips.

Ø      To become comfortable with the Windows interface since it will help you use all the Windows based programs on your computer.  Your learning curve will greatly increase once you learn the basics of Windows.

Ø      The half day session will give the student the necessary basics, but it will not give the experienced user the information about advanced folder and file work on the drives or the training on tools like the windows clipboard, the Paintbrush and WordPad, and file management.  Those topics are covered in the Windows ‘98 Full Intro class.
