Course Description

This course will take the student through the different ways to process transactions in the Quickbooks program.  Knowing what each can do and how to best utilize the program’s options is the key to learning about these options.  Finding, changing and deleting transactions will also be covered.  Many other important parts are covered like the bank reconciliation, advanced reporting, and the year end considerations in Quickbooks.

Course Objectives

Ø      This course is ideal for a new user and also very beneficial for people who have been using Quickbooks for a while but they lack the confidence that they are utilizing it properly.

Ø      You can do transactions directly into registers or use the form screens.  Find out how and why you will need to know about both techniques.

Ø      You will go through the complete cycle of transactions like the invoicing for a sale, to the receiving of the money, to the making of the deposit.  It all feeds into the bank reconciliation which is a must to learn and understand.

Ø      The reporting features of Quickbooks are very powerful.  Learn to how start customizing and memorizing reports in Quickbooks.

Ø      The year-end steps will be the conclusion of this course.  Find out what your options are.
