Settler Farm Accounting - Setup

Course Schedule - Course Outlines

Course Description

This class will focus on the proper setup of the Settler farm accounting software.  It will be based on using Settler Gold, but there will be reference and information for Lite users.  This accounting software is full of value added features specific for the farm industry – find out what it can do for you! This course will provide invaluable tips for those who are Incorporated and those who are sole proprietors. Taught by our Settler Certified Consultant who also has an accounting background makes this course a good investment to ensuring your books are setup in a proper fashion.

Course Objectives

Ø      To take a new user through the process of setting up a set of books on the Settler software.  After the course the students will be equipped with enough information to properly setup their own company books in Settler.

Ø      To provide information about the many farm specific features available in Settler. The Settler software allows you to grow into it and implement the features as you need and want them.

Ø      To use the software hands on and build a fictitious company and to get new and flexible information along the way.  In this way the student will better understand how the steps will apply or not apply to their own set of books.

Course Length

Recommended Prerequisites
