WordPerfect 7.0 - Level 2 |
|
|
Course Description
|
Studies show that most
people use only 20% of a software package’s features. This course is designed to show you some of that other 80% of
the program. The
student will be introduced to advanced features such as templates,
mail merge, styles, graphics, watermarks, columns and more.
Most of these features can improve the proficiency of any
person who uses WordPerfect frequently and would like to find ways
to take advantage of what it has to offer.
|
Course Objectives
Ø
Many people recall word processor documents for
slight modifications then reprint it or save it under another filename.
They could accommodate this by using the Template feature that is
part of a function called Perfect Experts.
Ø
Styles is another feature that will improve your
productivity. It is a way to
apply a repetitive formatting appearance quickly over areas of text
without having to activate each individual formatting command.
Ø
WordPerfect has built a user friendly mail merge
helper that will guide the user through the three phases of doing a merge.
Learn to perform a basic mail merge.
Ø
Work with advanced document features like
headers/footers, page numbering, graphics, columns and tables.
Ø
Learn how easy is it to set up Macros and how to
use them to improve productivity in Word Perfect.
